The head of state traveled to address national troops in the Pokrovsk area on the weekday. The president confirmed that he engaged with soldiers at the command post of the initial brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya area, an urban center approximately a short distance from the city.

Intense Situation in the Region

Updated analysis from a national effort showed that invading troops had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though significant areas lacked clear dominance by both forces. The conditions are severe, with reports indicating that Russian forces were establishing defenses and building up positions in certain areas.

Invading troops are making progress in the Pokrovsk front and seem to be functioning with growing ease within Pokrovsk itself.

Analysts observed that Ukrainian forces had liberated a significant portion of a Russian penetration in the Dobropillya direction, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk effort.

Kyiv's Drone Strikes Within Russian Territory

National unmanned aircraft targeted a production facility approximately a considerable distance inside Russian territory at Sterlitamak. Regional authorities reported an explosion at the Sterlitamak facility that caused its water treatment facility to partially collapse, adding that the origin of the detonation was undetermined. The Ukrainian military general staff stated there was significant destruction to the facility.

National forces reported hitting a Lukoil oil refinery at the city in the federal district to the east of the capital. The extent of the damage was currently analyzed. The Russian regional governor acknowledged a strike by multiple unmanned aircraft near Kstovo.

Russian Defense Policy Changes
